The day that Brad and Rachel got married was a beautiful one! These two were so ready to marry one another and were beyond excited! The day took place at Peaceful Scout Valley Ranch a Boy Scout camp located in the Kiowa and run by Rachel’s parents and brothers. The camp is super secluded which in my opinion makes a wedding day even more special!
I love how thought out this wedding day was, it made for such a relaxed enjoyable wedding. Thank you to Brad and Rachel for letting me document such a special day!Rachel did boudoir photos for Brad with me before the wedding and this is his adorable reaction to looking at them for the first time.
What was the favorite part of your wedding day?
I think my favorite part of the wedding day was our first look. The anticipation that leads up to that moment and then being able to see him and his reaction when he sees you. There is something so special about that moment. I am really glad we did it before the wedding since it gave us time to be alone in that moment instead of in front of everyone who is ready for the service to start.
What was your favorite thing to design/plan?
I think my favorite thing was the centerpieces. I loved the mason jars with fireflies since they aren’t here in Colorado but they were my favorite part about summers growing up.
What’s your favorite part about being married?
I love that I get to wake up with my best friend every day and I get to know that I will grow old with.
If you could give one piece of advice to other brides who are planning their weddings, what would it be and why?
Elope! Just kidding kind of haha. But, on a serious note just know that the day may not go as planned and it is OKAY just roll with it! It will go by fast enough as is don’t spend it being upset.
Where did you go for your honeymoon? What was the best part?
We took a cruise to Alaska. We chose a cruise because what else can you do where you don’t leave the room a lot and not feel bad about. If you know what I’m sayin 😉 I think our favorite part was our excursion. We went to a fishing lodge and they had a little hike behind it and we were there on the perfect day.

We are so thankful that we were able to have Kim photograph our wedding. It is such a blessing to have such an incredible photographer for the big day. It is worth every penny to capture those moments that you may forget. Thank you Kimberly!
