Colorado Golf Course Wedding

Marcus and Loraine are such a beautiful couple! These two go together so well and were such a blast to spend time with on their wedding day! Loraine picked out such tasteful decorations and color schemes for this early August wedding. The moment that Loraine walked down the aisle and Marcus set his eyes on her I couldn’t help but get teary eyed over how perfect it all was. What was the favorite part of your wedding day? First and foremost, seeing Marcus’s face when he first saw me walking down the aisle. He was so emotional, and I don’t think he ever unlocked eyes with me. I also loved that the whole day was to celebrate us. All our friends and family were there, which made it the most fun celebration ever. I also loved seeing all of our ideas come to life.What was your favorite thing to design/plan? I would say playing with the color scheme. We chose navy suits and all the decor was ivory, golds, and champagnes. I wanted a very clean, classy look, so I loved accessorizing within my color scheme. Also, arranging the flowers ourselves seemed overwhelming at first, but it brought all the ladies together, and we had a blast doing it!If you could give one piece of advice to other brides who are planning their weddings, what would it be and why? Be organized! My wedding binder was my most useful planning tool. I would also say to value the time you get to spend with all your family and friends. Not often in life do you get to have everyone you love all in once place.Where did you go for your honeymoon? What was the best part? We stayed at Now Larimar in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Best part was getting to spend all of our time together. We both work so much and had so much to do leading up to the wedding, it was so nice to just spend quality time together. We also enjoyed meeting so many people from around the world. We heard so many different languages spoken there; it was a cool experience! And the Dominicans were extremely nice people.
