2016 Year In Review

2016 was a whirlwind of a year. It had it’s up’s and downs but was a year that I gained a lot of perspective in my business and personal life. I was able to explore another country with my Dad, take and awesome photography workshop in Portland, travel to NOLA with my main squeeze, see Mumford and Sons and Tool live, and photograph a ton of amazing humans!

It’s such a privilege I have to be able to document big moments in peoples lives. There is nothing I love more than watching a parents and siblings help their children get ready, documenting first hugs after a ceremony, and watching a father daughter dance. Life is made up of moments and I get to witness a lot being a wedding photographer. I can’t count how many moments I’ve had where I leave a session or a wedding and feel utterly grateful and quite frankly giddy to get home and edit those images. My job is more than just taking pictures its making memories that will last the rest of peoples lives. I want to say thank you to each and every individual that trusted me to document them this year it means so very much to me.

I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings and all the adventures that it holds. Hoping this year is magical and filled with love for everyone. Please enjoy this 2016 Year In Review post!
