Mountain Winter Engagement Photos

Mountain Winter Engagement Photos are some of my favorite sessions. This one was sun drenched and was surprisingly pretty warm outside. As soon as I met Haley & Gary I knew that these two were my people. These two are so in love with one another and you can tell whenever you’re around them. The way they make each other smile now that’s magic. Cannot wait for their wedding this August at Blanc! It’s going to be an amazing day!

How did you two meet? 

First day of school junior year of high school in Bitburg, Germany. We had no idea what an impact that day would have on our lives! Fun fact, we are getting married on the day we met…9 years later.

What excites you the most about your wedding day? 

H: I am so excited to have our family and friends in one place, and to dance the night away with my best friend who I’ll finally get to call my husband!

G: I can’t wait to see her walking down the aisle. I’m going to be a big blubbering crying mess and I cannot wait.

 

What do you love most about the other? 

H: I love his sense of humor and the way he loves. He has the biggest heart and appreciates the small moments in life. He makes living an amazing adventure!

G: She has made me laugh every single day since I met her. She’s the most incredible person on the planet and has made it her mission to make me feel special. She’s undoubtedly made me a better person.

Why did you pick your current wedding location and what went into that? 

H: We had a tough time with this part of the planning (I think that’s normal)! We picked a place that truly represents who we are and what we love. We wanted it to be convenient for our out of town guests and provide a place to create a favorite memory in beautiful Denver.

   

What was your favorite part about the engagement session? 

H: It was a reminder in the midst of planning why we are doing all of this, and how much we love each other. It’s easy to get lost in the planning, and taking pictures reminded us to relax and enjoy being engaged!

G: I couldn’t get over how beautiful my future wife was. Having to stare at her for a substantial amount of time was honestly pretty great.

What advice would you give to couples planning their big day? 

H: Don’t forgot that the big day is about you two! It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the decisions and feel like you have to make everyone happy. At the end of the day, everyone is there to support you two.

G: Definitely make an effort to stay excited about the day. Don’t let the pressure get to you. It’s going to be one of the best days of your life so keep that in the back of your head always.
