Intimate Wedding at Planet Bluegrass

Taylor and Christian’s intimate wedding at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons Colorado was exactly as it sounds, intimate.  Planet Bluegrass is primarily a concert venue that also hosts weddings on its massive campus.  The spacious 25 acre property can host up to 250 guests, but can also be used for more intimate gatherings like Taylor and Christians day which hosted just over 100 people for their reception.

Getting Ready

Taylor and Christian started off their wedding day getting ready in Planet Bluegrass’s bridal suite and groom’s suite.  They were able to take their morning slow and spend time with their wedding party before heading off to their first look.  These two were SO excited to see each other for the first time on their wedding day.  With the diverse landscape that makes up the outdoor wedding venue, we were able to find a more secluded spot for them to share their first look.

All throughout the day, Taylor and Christian had the BIGGEST hype crew with them.  Whether it be their family, friends or their incredibly fun wedding party, there was just so much energy coming from all of their loved ones.  We celebrated these two surrounded by their wedding party, sharing laughs and having the best time.

Their Wedding Ceremony at Planet Bluegrass

This outdoor wedding was out of this world.  Every detail that Taylor and Christian put into this wedding felt so heartfelt and intentional.  Their family arrived to a beautiful wedding ceremony set up overlooking Planet Blue Grass’s mountainous backdrop.   Plume and Furrow put together these gorgeous colorful floral pillars for their ceremony overlooking the redstone cliffs.  After their family gathered they sat and waited for Taylor and Christian’s entrance.

Taylor and Christian were actually married prior to their intimate wedding at Planet Bluegrass since their original date was scheduled for September of 2020.  Because of this, they chose to walk down the aisle together for their wedding day.  Seeing them walk down the aisle together surrounded by all their loved ones made me SO happy.  They walked down the aisle with the BIGGEST smiles on their faces and then stood up in front of their families to share their vows.

An Amazing Reception

The amount of detail that went into their cocktail hour and wedding reception décor was amazing and so beautiful.  There’s nothing I love more than an outdoor wedding reception and Planet Bluegrass was the prime location Taylor and Christian’s.  The farm table wedding reception set up made their wedding guests all feel like family.  I loved watching everyone gather together and celebrating these two.  The rest of the evening was FILLED with laughs, stories, and one of the best dance parties I’ve ever seen.
