Sarah and Elliots’ wedding day at Highlands Ranch Mansion was nothing short of MAGICAL.  Between ALL the little intentional details that were put into Sarah and Elliot’s wedding day, to the dream team of wedding vendors they had taking care of them throughout the day, this wedding day was one of the coolest days I’ve been a part of.

Sarah and Elliot met in law school.  They actually got the same score on the LSATS so they were competing for a lot of the same jobs.  These two have been together for a very long time and have grown up together.  They both love color, laughing together, and being with their families, not to mention they are filled to the BRIM with personality.

Getting Ready and Portraits

Sarah and her family took their time getting ready the morning of their wedding in one of the rooms provided by Highlands Ranch Mansion.  Every space throughout the mansion was SO beautiful.  It was nice to have a space to get ready within the mansion so that we didn’t have to travel for their ceremony or portraits.

Sarah and Elliot opted for a first look on their wedding day. Elliot and Sarah have the best kind of love.  They have SO much fun together, Elliot’s laugh is so contagious so he had the three of us laughing all throughout their first look and wedding portraits.  The Highlands Ranch Mansions property is SO beautiful.  There were so many spaces to explore and soak in.  Sarah, Elliot, and I had the best time exploring and taking some portraits on their wedding day.

Their Wedding at Highlands Ranch Mansion

Sarah and Elliot’s Jewish wedding ceremony on the Highlands Ranch Mansion lawn was absolutely breathtaking.  Their wedding vendor team did an amazing job with the setup and layout of their ceremony along with all of the small details throughout the Highlands Ranch that lead up to the ceremony.  Sarah and Elliot’s Chuppah was beautifully decorated with a wide variety of colorful flowers that match the tablescapes inside the venue.  To start off their wedding ceremony, they walked towards the circular ceremony site at the same time as their parents.  They came from opposite directions and then met in the center which was SO fun.  Then surrounded by their friends and family, they exchanged vows and were married on this absolutely beautiful Colorado day.

Following their ceremony, everyone headed over to cocktail hour.  Because Sarah and Elliot had all of their photos taken before their ceremony they were able to slow down and experience this phenomenal day surrounded by all their family and friends!  They greeted guests, caught up with old friends, and then we headed into the mansion for their reception.  When the party started, they had a band DJ set up with a DJ, guitarist, drummer, and saxophonist.  It was an AWESOME combination that kept the wedding day packed all night!  I LOVED being a part of Sarah and Elliots’ wedding at Highlands Ranch Mansion.  If you’re planning a wedding yourself and looking for some more inspiration head to my blog to check out more of my latest weddings!
