Elaine and Ross’s wedding day is one filled with emotion, intention, and SO much fun. The three of us connected immediately during our consultation call so I knew their day would be a special one. The two planned out and crafted the perfect wedding day in downtown Denver and I’m so happy I was able to be part of it.
Getting Ready
The two started their day getting ready for their wedding separately at the Born Kimpton Hotel in downtown Denver. Both Elaine and Ross have extremely tight-knit family and friend circles. Seeing them have so much fun getting ready with their respective wedding parties and the excitement everyone shared was such a great way to start off the day.Â
First Look and Portraits
Once Elaine and Ross were both ready we had them meet up for a first look outside of the Born Kimpton Hotel overlooking Union Station. Ross’s reaction to seeing Elaine was one of pure joy. These two are the perfect pair for one another as there’s so much love between them and they truly bring out the best in one another. After the first look and a few happy tears from everyone around, we had some time for some couples’ portraits and portraits with their friends and families. After we took plenty of portraits of the group it was time to hit the streets of downtown Denver and head over to their wedding venue.
Their Downtown Denver Wedding
Elaine and Ross chose Coohills Restaurant as their wedding venue and they couldn’t have picked a better venue. Coohills has this incredible set up where they have Wewatta Bridge, which is just outside the restaurant, available to use for your wedding day. Elaine and Ross used this as their ceremony space and it was beautiful. They kept their decorations for their wedding ceremony simple so that the focus was on them and their guests, and having downtown Denver in the background was the cherry on top. These two are extremely thoughtful and you could tell just looking around at their day. After the ceremony we spent some time getting some more couples portraits before heading inside Coohills for their reception. Elaine and Ross spent the rest of their night celebrating their incredible wedding day with their favorite people dancing the night away.
Elaine and Ross had such a joyful and intentional wedding in downtown Denver. It took place back in 2020 and I am STILL thinking about this beautiful day. Head over to my blog page for some more wedding day content, and if you need a photographer for your wedding head to my contact page here.
