Colleen and Adam’s black and white classic wedding at River Bend in Lyons was one of the most beautiful wedding days I’ve been a part of. Their day was full of so many sweet moments and enough love to last a lifetime. Colleen and Adam are seriously some of the most fun people that I’ve had the chance to work with, and they put together such an incredible and memorable wedding day experience.
Getting Ready and a First Look
The two started off their wedding day getting ready separately in two of the spaces that River Bend at Lyons Farmette has available. Seeing Colleen and Adam having so much fun getting ready with their closest friends it was incredibly clear that their wedding was going to be a blast. Once the two were ready and their wedding parties had hyped them up, Colleen and Adam headed outside for a first look. First looks are such an incredible way to start off your wedding day festivities as there’s so much excitement and emotion that comes from them. Colleen and Adam both lit up once they saw one another and we were able to get some portraits of the two of them as well as some wedding party and family photos before it was time for the ceremony.
Their Magical Ceremony at River Bend
As the guests started to arrive and find their seats it was time to start the ceremony. The River Bend at Lyons Farmette has such an incredibly gorgeous ceremony space. With trees surrounding it and the North Saint Vrain Creek and cliffside in the background it gives it a truly secluded and magical feeling. For their ceremony Colleen was walked down the aisle by both her parents and their partners which was such a sweet moment. They’re all so close to one another and seeing everyone come together for Colleen and Adam’s wedding was such a sweet moment.
Reception and a Silent Disco
After the ceremony was over Colleen and Adam spent some time mingling with their guests during the cocktail hour before we snuck away for some more portraits in the sunset. Another thing I love about River Bend at Lyons Farmette is an add on they provide which is Iris the alcohol Burro. Guests love her as she carries alcohol around during cocktail hour! Colleen and Adam shared some time alone together down by the river followed by a dance with their families to start off their reception.
Their reception space was decorated beautifully and with food catered from Mountain Crust Pizza and desert by Costco and Sweet Cow you really couldn’t ask for more. The two finished off their wedding day celebrations with a silent disco put on by Big Little Sound. This was such a fun take on the usual reception dance and capturing everyone celebrating and dancing their hearts out with their headphones on was the cherry on top of this incredible wedding day.
I’m so glad I was able to be part of Colleen and Adams’ wedding at River Bend at Lyons Farmette. They put together an incredibly detailed, fun, and heartfelt day and capturing everything that went into it was such a wonderful experience.
