Denver Wedding at Skylight | Anna & Kyle

Anna and Kyle met on bumble, and continuously joke about not knowing who made the first move, and both paid extra to see if someone swiped on her first. After they got together though it really didn’t matter, because it was love at first site quite literally. Once they decided they were ready for the next steps in life, Kyle sneakily planned to propose to Anna during a trip to Spain, where she of course said yes, after which they were able to start planning their dream wedding day! The both LOVE Denver, specifically downtown Denver, so they knew they had to have their wedding day in this amazing city. They booked the Skylight wedding venue and planner their entire wedding day in Denver surrounded by their friends and family.

Getting Ready at The Maven Hotel in Denver

Anna and Kyle got ready for their wedding day at The Maven Hotel in Denver which I’m in love with. The Maven is known for its quirky and artistic flair throughout the building, and with it being between the River North Art District and the Golden Triangle Creative District, it’s no wonder the space is so cool.

After Anna and Kyle got ready with their wedding parties we headed out to the courtyard for their first look in front of a beautiful wall art installation at the Dairy Block. I love that Anna and Kyle set aside some time for themselves on their wedding day and got to have some alone time in Denver (the city they love so much) before their wedding ceremony later that day! We took photos around some of the epic murals around the block as they loved on each other and showed off their gorgeous wedding attire.

Once they arrived at Skylight, their friends and family were seated and they had their ceremony. The amount of pure joy that came from their friends and family members throughout their ceremony and celebrations melted my heart. I felt so lucky to be able to be a part of their day. After their ceremony, they all went to cocktail hour to enjoy some Hors D’oeuvres by Love Pop in Denver and had the best time visiting with family and friends.

During cocktail hour Kyle surprised Anna with the cutest cake topper of two llamas! They do a llama race every year so Kyle felt it was very fitting to have two llamas dressed in wedding attire on the top of their cake.

Their Denver Summer Wedding Reception

Their wedding reception was put on by an amazing team of vendors. The whole event ran so smoothly and they truly have impeccable taste. I loved working with their wedding vendor team throughout their Denver wedding day. After dinner, the three of us snuck out to enjoy a little bit of sunset in Denver and give the newly married couple a moment to themselves to soak it all in. Then we went back inside to celebrate with their friends and family! Anna and Kyle were so happy to celebrate and have the best time with their friends and family throughout their day!
