Early Fall Wedding at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center

Some love stories are years in the making, and then some take a few decades to get to the wedding day, Tori and Kyle’s love story is the latter. Having met one another way back when they were in kindergarten together, hence Kyle’s nickname being “Kindie Kyle” for Tori’s friends, the two have known one another practically all their lives. As they grew up they drifted apart, and it wasn’t until 2020 that they’d reconnect online and decide to go on their first date together. Once reconnecting, it was love at first sight, and after a few short years, a beautiful engagement, and getting their first pup Mabel together, their journey’s led to this wonderful wedding day at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center!

A Relaxed Start to Their Wedding Day in Salida

Tori and Kyle’s wedding day is a perfect representation of them: fun, easygoing, and centered around those that they love most. Both Tori and Kyle began the day in ways that fit their personalities to a T. For Tori this meant taking her time getting ready with her gals in this gorgeous Airbnb in Salida. Kyle took a slightly different route, opting to go fly fishing with his friends just outside of the Salida SteamPlant Event Center, which honestly was such a rad way to start the day! His and Tori’s pup also made an appearance during the fly fishing sesh, and it wouldn’t be the last time she was included in their wedding day!

After spending their mornings with their friends and family, Tori and Kyle chose to have a first look with one another prior to their ceremony. On the same river that Kyle had been fishing on earlier that day, the two shared an intimate moment together for a first look and private vow reading. This was SUCH a beautiful moment for these two, and the fun of their wedding day was just getting started! After a few family portraits it was time for their wedding ceremony at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center to begin.

A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony

The outdoor patio space of the Salida SteamPlant Event Center is absolutely stunning. Looking out towards Tenderfoot Hill and the surrounding landscape of Salida, the space is a dream come true for wedding ceremonies like Tori and Kyle’s. As the ceremony began Kyle was escorted down the aisle by Mabel which was SUCH a sweet touch. Once everyone was in place it was then time for Tori to make her entrance, and what a moment it was! Between the ear to ear smiles and happy tears being shed, the joy in the air was palpable.

Soon the two were officially newlyweds, which meant it was time to get the party underway! Cocktail hour began immediately after the ceremony, which took place on the same beautiful outdoor patio of the Salida SteamPlant. Tori and Kyle had a few newlywed and wedding party portraits to knock out before joining the festivities and spending time with their guests who were all SO excited to be there.

Endless Celebration at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center

The reception for Tori and Kyle’s wedding took place inside of the Salida SteamPlant Event Center. The beautiful brick walls of the building, the rustic furniture, and the simple and tasteful décor all came together to create the perfect reception space for Tori and Kyle. Their night was everything they hoped it would be. Delicious food and beverages to enjoy, plenty of mingling with those they love, and a night of dancing their hearts out alongside their favorite people. In the midst of all that though we were able to sneak out for some sunset wedding portraits throughout the town of Salida. Every moment truly felt perfect for what these two were after, all the way up through their grand sparkler exit at the end of the night.
