Learning about Maria and Kye’s love story, it’s clear these two were meant to fall in love with one another. With Maria being from Iowa and Kye being from England you wouldn’t imagine their paths ever crossing. Thanks to their shared love of graphic design and Videography though they ended up in the same industry, and eventually working together for the Colorado Rapids soccer team. After getting to know each other, and realizing they had a lot in common, Covid struck and Kye was stuck here in the US. Their connection quickly grew and blossomed into the love that I’m so happy to be sharing with you today! Come with me as I relive the story of Maria and Kye’s classic and beautiful wedding at Villa Parker!

Getting Ready for the Wedding at Villa Parker

From the very first moment I arrived at Villa Parker it became apparent just how important Maria and Kye’s people are to them. Both are big family people, so it wasn’t surprising to see that many of their wedding party members were also family. Maria and her gals got ready under the stunning archways of the Mediterranean villa, creating a scene that was both beautiful and SO much fun.

Kye and his English groomsmen arrived shortly after to get ready as well, and these guys were the best. Such a pure happy energy from everyone from the very start of the day, all the while being the kindest and most polite group which made them such a blast to be around. With everyone able to get ready in the comfort of Villa Parker, there was some time to take wedding party portraits prior to the ceremony which was lovely. We took care not to have Maria and Kye cross paths though, as without a first look they were waiting until the ceremony to see one another!

An Unforgettable Outdoor Ceremony

If I could only use one word to describe Maria and Kye’s ceremony it would be joy. Pure, unfiltered, and overpowering joy. Amidst the breathtaking backdrop of Villa Parker’s courtyard, Maria and Kye’s wedding ceremony kicked off with a bang. After Kye was escorted down the aisle the wedding parties made their epic entrance. Kye is actually a huge fan of The Office, so as a surprise Maria planned to have their wedding party members dance down the aisle to the theme song! It was easily my favorite moment from the day, and the looks on their faces really say it all!

After this immensely joyful start to the ceremony, it was now time for Maria’s entrance. Without having done a first look, Kye was feeling a little anxious. That all bubbled over when he saw Maria for the first time which made for such a beautiful, emotional moment. After sharing their vows, and a few more laughs together, Maria and Kye were officially newlyweds! During their recessional their guests all waved their rally towels they’d been given, which was such a fun note to end on.

Dancing Their Hearts Out in Villa Parker

Following the wedding ceremony was a beautiful cocktail hour on the gorgeous grounds of Villa Parker. It still catches me off guard sometimes that this venue is just south of Denver and not actually a villa in the Italian countryside! After some wedding party, family, and newlywed portraits, Maria and Kye were able to join the tail end of cocktail hour before their reception began.

The interior space of Villa Parker is just as beautiful as the exterior, with its gorgeous archways keeping that same Mediterranean feel intact. Maria and Kye made the most of each and every moment of their reception. From their beautiful first dance, to creating memories with their friends and family, and of course a moment to themselves as we snuck out for some sunset portraits. The two then danced into the night with those they love most, the perfect end to this amazing chapter of their love story, and an epic send off into this new phase of life together.

Maria and Kye’s wedding day at Villa Parker was the perfect representation of them from start to finish. Each moment felt intentional and cherished, and I’m just so happy to have been a part of it all.
