Modern Denver Wedding at Asterisk

Caroline and Jake put together the most beautiful modern wedding day at Asterisk in Denver Colorado. I met Caroline and Jake the day of their wedding and I immediately adored both of them. Caroline was so graceful and beautiful with the warmest and kindest spirit, while Jake had one of the most contagious smiles I’ve seen. These two put together an epic wedding day surrounded by all of their friends and family. Their wedding was an epic celebration with so much emotion and it was such a fun day to be a part of.

Getting Ready

Caroline and Jake got ready for their wedding day in separate spaces. Caroline had her hair and makeup done surrounded by her bridesmaids and family at the Clayton Hotel in Denver Colorado. Caroline’s mother and sisters were immediately so helpful and gracious throughout the wedding morning. You could see Caroline’s elegant style with a modern spin all throughout their wedding day. From the invitation suite that Caroline designed to the little details that made up their reception space, you could tell that every detail that went into their wedding day was carefully curated.

Jake got ready at his childhood home which was so special for him. He got ready surrounded by his closest friends and family and spent the day taking his time and enjoying their company. Getting ready for your wedding surrounded by your crew of best friends is the way to do it and Caroline and Jack did just that. Once Jake was ready it was time to head to the Clayton Hotel in Denver to meet up with Caroline and get their modern wedding underway.

Their First Look at the Clayton Hotel

When Jake showed up for the first look he was so nervous to see Caroline and wanted to make sure that the images were amazing and special for her. They were absolutely ecstatic to see one another during their first look and you can see it in the photos. After their first look we were able to explore the Clayton Hotel and take some portraits of them before we met up with their wedding party. I went to the Clayton Hotel ahead of time and got permission to take photos inside their beautiful restaurant. The modern decorations throughout this Denver Hotel and its restaurant made for such a beautiful setting for portraits and such a cool experience for Caroline and Jack on their wedding day.

Their Ceremony

Jake and Caroline had their wedding ceremony in the neo-classical pavilion located in Cheesman Park. Jake was beaming with excitement as he walked down the aisle surrounded by friends and family. Prior to the ceremony, Caroline had told me that she practiced her soft smile, but as she walked down the aisle for the ceremony, she let out the BIGGEST smile ever while tears fell down both of their cheeks. The two of them together were like fireworks igniting with joy. The Chuppah they got married under was in Jake’s family for years and his grandparents, as well as his parents, were all married underneath it.

Their Reception at Asterisk

Their modern-styled wedding reception at the Asterisk in Denver was just a giant and epic celebration with ALL of their loved ones present. They both love to dance, so the second the dance floor opened, everyone rushed in to celebrate with the two of them. I’m absolutely obsessed with how expressive both of them were and cannot get over Jake’s frowny dance moves face. Caroline and Jake’s modern Denver wedding was so much fun and I am so happy to have been a part of their celebration.
